Forestry Queens keep busy in 2008

January:   Seven lovely young ladies are crowned the 2008 Grady County Forestry Queens.

February:  The queens began to sell Raffle tickets for our 2nd annual Shotgun Raffle. Proceeds from this raffle help with the queens expenses at the State pageant in June.

March:  The queens are invited to a reception in honor of Miss Georgia, Leah Massee.  They get their picture taken with Miss Georgia and enjoy crown cookies and punch.
We also had our drawing for the Shotgun Raffle.  The winning ticket was sold by Miss Grady County Forestry, Jordie King.

April:  On April 25, we celebrate Arbor Day.  In honor of Arbor Day, the Grady County Forestry Queens will plant a tree in Grady County.

May:  In May, we will have a cookout and door decorating party to honor the queens and their families and wish them the best of luck at State in June.
